Sharjah 24: The Ivory Coast Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai introduces the country’s products, history and heritage, along with the investment opportunities it offers.
Julien Nyain, Supervisor of the Ivory Coast Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, expressed their happiness to participate in this global event in the UAE.
He added that Ivory Coast, or "Côte d'Ivoire" in French, took its name from the elephant ivory that African traders used to collect and offer for sale on its Atlantic coast to European traders in the early modern industrial era.
He maintained that the agricultural country, which is famous for producing and exporting coffee and cocoa, became strong contributor in the fields of technology, investment, tourism and renewable energies.
He concluded to “Sharjah 24”, that this is the impression that the Ivory Coast Pavilion wishes to present to the world.
