Domagnano Treasure on exhibit at San Marino’s Pavilion

December 05, 2021 / 11:27 PM
Sharjah 24: Ilaria Brizi, the San Marino Pavilion's Media Manager, invited visitors to visit the pavilion to admire the magnificent Domagnano Treasure. "I am here today to explain what our pavilion is all about; it showcases, in particular, the Domagnano Treasure, which is the key land mark of this spot," she said in an interview with “Sharjah 24”.
“The Domagnano Treasure was discovered in the Castle of Domagnano in 1893. The treasure is mostly made up of jewels from the fifth or sixth centuries. In the exhibit, we have a replica made by Bologna artist Marco Casagrande," explained.

"This gem was shared around the world, including several museums, and we now have a reproduction to communicate the connection between all countries. The major item, an eagle-shaped fibula, is housed at the Abu Dhabi Louvre."

She went on saying, "We are in the opportunities area, because we represent a country that is bursting at the seams with opportunities and want to share the word about them. There are several advantages and benefits, so please come and discover more.”

Finally, I'd like to invite the people to our National Day on December 10. Beginning in the morning, San Marino will have a celebration here at Expo, at Al Wasl Plaza. Please come and learn about our traditions and culture".
