Sharjah24 – Reuters: Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the 105th Glasgow Scouts on the sidelines of the COP26 summit to celebrate its Promise to the Planet campaign.

Prince William and Kate spoke with members of the youth group at the Alexandra Park Sports Hub to learn what they are doing to tackle climate change.

The royals learnt what it takes to be a Scout, preparing food and fixing bicycles with them.

Since June, 57 million Scouts from around the world have been doing what they can to make a difference in their local area, according to the website.

At the COP26 UN climate conference, a group of Scouts will represent the Promise to the Planet campaign, making it clear to world leaders that it is their responsibility to act now to save the planet.
