Sharjah24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) , praised the excellence of Sharjah Sports Club in hosting various sporting events which reflects the premium level of qualification in hosting such events .
Sharjah Sports Club hosted the Asian qualifiers matches for the Asian Cup 2023 and the world cup 2022 , and also hosted the matches of the second group of the Asian Champions League, and other international events.
The honouring came on a sideline on a meeting held at SSC’s headquarters, where His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami handed over a souvenir and a letter of thanks to Ali Salem Al Midfa.
In turn, His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa expressed on behalf of the club his gratitude and appreciation for this honour, stressing the club’s keenness to push the wheel of progress in the sport field in the Emirate of Sharjah , praising the great role played by the council to achieve its sport mission at all levels.
