Sharjah 24: During GITEX 2021, Sahab Smart Solutions, a Sharjah Asset Management subsidiary, inked a strategic partnership agreement with Software AG to improve digital integration solutions and expand company growth opportunities and practices for various entities in the United Arab Emirates.
Amin Al Zarouni, CEO of Sahab Smart Solutions, and Rami Kichli, Vice President of Software AG Gulf & Middle East signed the agreement.

Sahab will have access to integrated digital services and information technology platforms that use (ARIS), (Alfabet), and (WebMethods) technologies to implement key solutions such as “Cumulocity IoT”  to accelerate the adoption and deployment of "Internet of Things" technologies across the country.

According to Amin Al Zarouni, the challenges that various parties face in the digital transformation journey are usually vast and intricate, and when these challenges are combined with typical problems in the field of the Internet of Things, they become extremely difficult to overcome.

He added that combining Software AG's experience in integration, business, and IoT with Sahab Smart Solutions' expertise in integrating digital transformation technologies will improve the drivers of digital transformation, since both parties intend to provide a variety of technical and other services for the country's institutions and entities, aside from offering a cost-effective method of managing IoT systems.

"It is very exciting to begin on the advancement and transformation path, which will help to the country's growth of modern government services for citizens, residents, and tourists," says Rami Kichli. He went on to say that UAE authorities are looking ahead and consolidating the country's position on a global scale in order to realise the UAE's vision.

"Our objective at Software AG is to improve enterprises' capacity to connect and integrate, combine services, and develop the technology ecosystem," he added. “The combination of our knowledge is vital for companies that want to accelerate innovation and embrace emerging technological trends in order to develop digital cities in the future. We are confident that these solutions will provide a solid foundation for a completely digital system and future great encounters.”
