In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al-Hairi said: "I express my gratitude and appreciation to the Emirates Fencing Federation for organising the first championships of the season in the gym of Sharjah Sports Club in Al Hazana, emphasising Sharjah Sports Club's eagerness to host such tournaments at the level of all sports federations in the country." He stressed Sharjah Sports Club's keenness to host such competitions at the level of all sports federations in UAE.
He congratulated Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi on his election as president of the Asian Fencing Federation, and wished success.
