Sharjah 24: Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club officially joined Expo 2020 Dubai, pursuant to an agreement signed between the club and officials of the global event. The Agreement includes many training sessions and opportunities to meet and interact with the club stars, and players' shirts to bear the Expo logo.
Expo 2020 Dubai announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, on Friday evening, to join the largest and most important event in the world, in light of the pandemic, following in the foot steps of historic world Expos that have been held in the last 170 years, to provide a platform showcasing the most important innovations that shaped the world as we know it today.
Under the agreement, Expo 2020 Dubai will welcome Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club players and fans to events within the Expo site, including training sessions and opportunities to meet and interact with stars. Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club players’ shirts will feature the Expo 2020 Dubai logo.
His Excellency Mohamed Thaaloob Salim Hamad Al Derei. Chairman of the Board of Al Ain Club Investment Company, valued the noble and generous support of the wise leadership given to all UAE sectors, in line with the leadership’s vision and wisdom in achieving success of the nation nation.
Al Derei said that Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club is proud to sign the cooperation agreement with Expo, whereas the club’s vision supports participation in global fora, national events and joint initiatives. He added that the Club’s partnership with Expo 2020, confirms the true capabilities of the UAE, which was proven by hosting the most important event in the world in light of the pandemic, with the participation of 192 countries, which happens for the first time in the 170-year history of the Expo.
