Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) concluded its training courses targeting its employees to obtain a certificate of first aid and pulmonary resuscitation. The third course was targeted employees of the council's departments and sections, taking place from 27 to 30 September at the headquarters of Sharjah Cultural Chess Club.
The course was held within the Council’s programme to support security and safety, in coordination with the Academy for Research and Development of Sports Science Activities “Drassa”, which is accredited by the Dubai Ambulance Services Authority.
At the end of the course, the participants were received certificates of accreditation as paramedics, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan, Board Member and Chairman of the Strategic Foresight Committee, and Ms. Maryam Yousef Al Hosani, Director of Strategy and Performance Department.
On this occasion, Maryam Yousef Al Hosani confirmed that these courses aim to support the general culture of employees and raise their efficiency to benefit them in and outside the work environment, as the course qualifies its participants to perform first aid and treat any emergency situation.
