The Fujairah Municipality, the Department of Works and Agriculture and other authorities have begun to send emergency work teams to the beaches to prepare and be ready to deal in the event of high waves as a result of the unstable weather on the coast of the Emirate of Fujairah.
The emergency, crisis and disaster team in Fujairah warned beachgoers not to approach or swim in the sea, or to go out to the places of valleys and mountains, where people will be subjected to legal accountability, in the event of their violation and non-compliance with the instructions and requirements set by the team.
This came against the background of the meeting held by Major General Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, head of the emergency, crisis and disaster team in the emirate, with team members and in the presence of department managers and stakeholders to follow up and discuss the development of the tropical situation and raise the degree of readiness of the police force.
The Fujairah Police General Command also deployed intensive patrols on the coasts of the Emirate of Fujairah, and urged all drivers to take precautions while driving vehicles and to stay away from buildings under construction, in order to preserve their safety and others.
