Sharjah 24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club (MCSC) announced Wednesday evening, in a press conference, the launch of the first social and educational sports event, “Together we Progress” at the start of the 2021-2022 sports season, targeting parents of players to share a sports day with their children.
The initiative aims to enhance communication with parents, whereas the club appreciates the role played by parents and the support they provide for their children.
The club is scheduled to organise the initiative and invite the players' parents to attend on the evening of next Saturday, the 25th of September.
The press conference was attended by Abdullah Balajid Al Ketbi, a member of the Board of Directors and head of the Cultural Committee at Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club; Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi, the club’s administrative secretary; Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club; Abdullah Salim Al Khasouni, Deputy Chairman of the board; board members; the Club staff and a number of media representatives.
At the beginning of the press conference, Abdullah Balajid Al Ketbi, confirmed that organising “Together we Progress” initiative, comes in light of the strategy of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, consistent with the directions of the Sharjah Sports Council, guided by the directives of His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, that aim at caring for players in sports, culture and ethics. He added, that the Cultural and Community Service Committee launched the initiative, which includes a series of cultural events and activities targeting sports team players of all ages.
Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi, indicated that the club reveals the initiative directed to the players’ parents, which is held under the slogan “Together we Progress”, from the club’s strategy, vision, mission and objectives aimed at informing parents of the system of sports, cultural and community services at the club and consolidating the volunteer approach at all work levels.
Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi pointed that Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club continues sports, cultural and community services and works to create a motivating environment for all those targeted by the club's services, in order to achieve leadership in various sports, cultural and social sectors.
Mansour Rashid Al Ketbi concluded that the club’s initiative, will work on introducing the capabilities and efforts of the club in the field of effective organisational and institutional work, and the achievements gained in the field of strategic planning. The initiative will also encourage receiving inquiries and suggestions from parents for continuous improvement and quality control, in addition to attract volunteers for different activities and events.
