Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, confirmed that “the ten principles of the United Arab Emirates in the next fifty years, as directed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, May God protect him, and approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, represent a continuation of the wise and ambitious vision that has led the country to its current advanced position.”
In a speech, His Highness added, “the union has been the main element that has united the vision and efforts of all federal and local institutions and bodies over the years, and the people of the country have rallied around it with belonging, loyalty, and sincerity in word and work to achieve what we all aspire to from a dignified life, prosperity, and progress in all sectors that make the UAE a beacon of progress and prosperity, and an example of the true ideals upon which it was built and established, and it formed our identity that we are so proud of.”

His Highness explained that, “all of what has been accomplished would not have been possible without a strong focus on the main and true driving element of development, the Emirati human capital, that was and continues to be up to the leadership's responsibility, confidence, and great ambition, and will be responsible for achieving even greater accomplishments in the next fifty years through learning and developing skills; keeping up with all industries and new technologies, as well as utilising all scientific means and development resources.”
