Sharjah24 – AFP: Emmanuel Macron announces in Kigali the forthcoming appointment of "a French ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda" for the first time since 2015.
Commenting on this, Emmanuel Macron, French President said, "This new relationship that President Kagame and I wanted for France and for Rwanda, which allows us to move forward, is being built through these different sectors and these few pillars that I have just mentioned. The post has been vacant for six years and the normalisation of our relations could not be envisaged without this step."
