In a statement, the Arab League referred to organising support campaigns and offering various forms of in-kind assistance, as well as public and private sectors campaigns in all Arab countries, which highlights the importance of Arab solidarity in providing resilience tools and supporting the Palestinian cause, which is the central issue of the Arab nation, in facing the heinous Israeli occupation and its ongoing aggression on the Palestinian people.
The Arab League praised Egypt’s allocation of USD 500 million for the reconstruction of Gaza after the Israeli attacks and opening Egyptian hospitals to receive injured Palestinians, in addition to the decision of King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan and Moroccan King Mohammad VI to dispatch emergency medical and humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
The Arab League also called on all Arab and Islamic countries to exert all efforts to help the Palestinian people and mobilize humanitarian and medical assistance to relief the injured Palestinians, urging the international community to pressure Israel to immediately stop the aggression and open border crossings so as for Palestinians to receive medical aid and facilitate the transfer of injured people to continue their treatment in hospitals outside Gaza.
