Sharjah24 – AFP: Hundreds of people gather in Brussels to celebrate the end of the curfew in Belgium, many partying and dancing. The evening ended in clashes between revellers and the police, with objects being thrown and the police firing a water cannon as they cleared the area.
Commenting on this, Christos Doulkeridis , Mayor of Ixelles stated, "Good evening, I’m Christos Doulkeridis, the mayor of Ixelles. It is 12:30 am, we have left you the opportunity to party throughout the evening. Now, out of respect for the neighbors, I really ask you to leave the premises."
