Sharjah 24: Colonel Ashour Sabt bin Ashour, Director of the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, Chairman of the Security Committee of the Asian Champions League Group B, accompanied by members of the Committee, and a delegation from the Sharjah Sports Council, inspected the residence of the delegations for the four participating teams. In addition to inspecting the facilities of the Sharjah Sports Club, which hosts the group matches from 14-29 of this month.

Colonel Ashour reviewed all security arrangements and preparations at the residence the delegations, and the extent of their compliance with the sports protocol set by the highest authorities in the country to confront the COVID-19 pandemic.

He inspected the places designated for conducting the PCR tests for players and technical crews of the teams. In addition to inspecting the rest of the facilities for delegations in the hotel. He also examined all the security measures followed at Sharjah Sports Club, which in turn contribute to enhancing the safety of the participants.

As he inspected the entrances and exits of the club, he noted that group matches will be held without a public presence due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He praised the efforts and arrangements made to host the event by the organising committee and the various committees involved in organising this great sporting event.

He called on all supervisors and members of the various committees to join hands for the success of the event, which honours the reputation of Emirati football, and befits the stature of the Emirate of Sharjah.
