SSC to organise workshops on outputs of WHC- Egypt 2021

Sharjah24: As part of its plans to qualify the coaches, raise their technical capabilities and develop their competencies, Sharjah Sport Council (SSC) will organise four technical workshops on the outputs of World Handball Championship (WHC) - Egypt 2021 virtually through Zoom programme, starting from 15 to 23 March with the participation of handball coaches of Sharjah’s clubs.
Nabil Muhammad Ashour, Director of Sports and Development Affairs Department affirmed the Department’s keenness to work on organising various technical programmes, workshops and training lectures to empower coaches and develop their technical capabilities in various collective and individual games based on the approved plan.

Nabil Ashour added that these four workshops deal with the latest playing methods adopted by the teams of Denmark, Sweden, Spain and France during the World Handball Championship which was held recently in the Egypt last January. He emphasised that all workshops are supervised by the Department of Sports and Development Affairs and with the follow-up of Tarek Bou Sanina, a handball specialist in the Department of Handball Affairs.

Director of Sports and Development Affairs Department affirmed that these workshops aim to extract the most important technical elements through the World Handball Championship to benefit from these outputs and invest them in the training programmes.
