Sharjah24: Delegations from Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) and Directorate of Public Works (SDPW), made a field visit to Sharjah stadium in Samnan to review the development and maintenance plan for the stadium’s facilities.
During the visit, Abdullah Al Ajlah, Chairman of the Sharjah Football Club Company, and in the presence of Mohammed Al Qusayr, Executive Director of Sharjah Sports Club, Wahid Arafat, Executive Director of Sharjah Football Company and Eng. Haytham Al Maghari, discussed the development and maintenance plan for Sharjah stadium facilities in Samnan.
Chairman of the Sharjah Football Club Company discussed with SDPW and SSC’s delegation the urgent and strategic plans for the maintenance programme at Sharjah stadium followed by a field tour to the various facilities to explain the company's vision regarding urgent repairs and maintenance in the stadium due to the possibility of hosting Champions League 2021 at the stadium.
The delegation, accompanied by the chairman of the company inspected the football academy building, sub-stadiums, the club's clinic and the rehabilitation hall, which are well equipped with a development plan , The delegation also briefed on to the club's vision about making some changes to the VIP stand in the stadium.
