Sharjah24: As part of its plans to raise efficiency of administrative performance in its clubs and the qualification of specialised cadres, Sharjah Sport Council (SSC) launched a programme for developing executive directors in Sharjah's clubs in cooperation with the Academy for Research and Development of Sports Science Activities "Derasa" through organising three workshops with the participation of 30 members of sports and specialised clubs in the emirate of Sharjah.
These workshops were organised in coordination between the Department of Strategy and Performance and Sports Affairs and Development in the Council. The first of these workshops was launched on 16 January under the title "Management of Assets and Properties in Sports Institutions" presented by Dr. Mowafak Al Ziyadat. The second workshop entitled "Operational Planning and Preparing Performance Reports in Sports Institutions" was presented by Rashid Ibrahim Al-Nuaimi. While Financial Advisor Sherif Amin presented the third workshop entitled "Financial Management in Sports Institutions".
Commenting on that, Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of SSC, highlighted the importance of the programme in achieving the objectives of the council through developing the competencies and honing skills of human resources in the council and clubs and empowering the executive directors in the emirate’s clubs in line with the great capabilities and unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
