Sharjah24: Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) will participate in the fifth edition of Sharjah’s globally renowned Xposure International Photography Festival, via a special platform to give its viewers, listeners and social media pioneers an integrated media coverage.

The four-day event, which will kick off on 10 and runs until  13 February, is organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB). 

The Authority’s participation comes in line with its strategy to keep pace with the various events held in the Emirate of Sharjah, to convey to the world the message of Xposure 2021 and support the emirate’s cultural, knowledge and artistic aspects. Photography, which is one of the most important areas of modern media, also seeks to sharpen the expertise and skills of its media cadres and to acquaint with the latest developments in the world of photography.

SBA’s coverage will be through its various programmes including “Sharjah Morning”, Amassi, talk show "Sharjah is a dialogue with the other”, "Story of a Picture", as wll as, the English-language radio "Plus 95" which will lead a comprehensive coverage of the festival's activities. 

In his remarks about the coverage, Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), stated that Xposure International Photography Festival is a positive support for the visual media sector, as it consolidates the concepts of photography that defends various issues and provides a great opportunity for photography's lover to polish their skills through mingling with the world’s most famous photographers.
  
Director General of the SBA, underscored the authority’s keenness to participate in this event in line with its goals and vision, to convey Sharjah’s position as an incubator of the most important cultural and artistic activities.
