Sharjah24: Taekwondo Club of Sharjah was crowned champion of the UAE Open Taekwondo Championship, the men's category, which was hosted by the Ittihad Kalba Club hall, in which 8 clubs from different country clubs participated in it, as it won 5 gold and bronze medals, to collect 60 points that placed it at the top of the tournament during which it 40 male players compete.
The Club was praised from all technicians and referees, as it is the first official tournament after a long hiatus hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic..
Commenting on the winning, Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, head of the Individual Games Department, lauded the team’s achievements, describing it as the distinguished and important result, being the first official tournament after a long period of stoppage, indicating that it will motivate players during the upcoming tournaments, and appreciating the high level presented by the players.
