Sharjah 24: Dr. Saeed Musabbah Al Kaabi, Chairman of Sharjah Education Council (SEC), called on parents to participate in the council’s elections to choose those who serve them and their children.
He congratulated students, faculty members, and all educational field staff and parents on the occasion of the start of the second semester, calling for intensified efforts to advance the development of the educational system, wishing them success.
In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Dr. Al Kaabi said that the start of the second semester coincides with the elections for the parents councils in the Emirate of Sharjah for the second session of 2020/2021 academic year, thanking all the committees that worked in issuing regulations and amending them in cooperation with the Ministry of Education which formed a joint working group to study the previous regulations and overcome the previous negatives and work to amend them in line with the objectives of the Sharjah Education Council.
Chairman of SEC added that the elections for the parents councils in the Emirate of Sharjah will be electronic by direct registration through the Sharjah Education Council website for the candidate, as for the parents through registering in the government school administration of the Emirate of Sharjah where their children are enrolled after reviewing conditions listed on the Sharjah Education Council website.
Dr. Al Kaabi stressed that the elections will be 50% by elections, and the other half is through appointment, the goal of which is to choose the persons that serve these councils and their diversity.
