Sharjah24: The College of Communication at Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised a group of various media training workshops remotely in cooperation with a number of leading media institutions, in order to invest their distinguished cadres expertise in qualifying and training students of the College of Communication in a number of media fields and the means they need in developing their career.
The training programme is part of the university’s plan to harness all the capabilities to enable students and benefit from the experiences of media industry leaders in those institutions.

Dr. Rashad Salem, Chancellor of Al Qasimia University, stressed that the university is seeking to invest its relations with the parties and media institutions specialised in media training, and that it has not failed to provide all its expertise and capabilities to support the practical side of students to provide them with the necessary skills for the media work market in the future.

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ataa Hassan Abdel Rahim, Acting Dean of the College of Communication at AQU, stated that the College gives the practical aspect double and great importance in all areas of information that students need to ensure the conformity of theoretical concepts with the process.

The students also expressed their happiness in attending such workshops for their long-term benefit to them, and thanked the college for its keenness in continuing to support them in a way that qualifies them to professionalize the media work that is essential for the media.
