Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council launched the first edition of the Leadership Bootcamp program, aiming at qualifying and preparing young players of both genders and assisting them at all levels in developing their leadership skills to enhance their future professional life.
Aiming to identify the level of the candidates who have different competencies and skills, the program started last week, with three meetings that have been held in the presence of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), Her Excellency Nada Askar Al Naqbi, Director General of Sharjah Women’s Sports (SWS), and several other candidates, dignitaries and officials.

On this occasion, His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami underscored the Council's keenness to organise such programs that empower sports future leaders, in accordance with the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, highlighting the importance of their wise directives that aim to develop several young leaders.

The program focuses on empowering participants with various leadership concepts and skills, aiming to strengthen the values of responsibility and develop their skills.
He concluded that the Council works on developing a number of leadership and youth training programs and the future leaders, as part of its strategic plan and objectives to ensure that Sharjah is the capital of Arab sports culture.
