Sharjah has always been the vanguard in supporting and enhancing opportunities and services for workers in the city. This new facility will heavily contribute to LSDA’s vision and objective to offer quality healthcare to a large number of blue-collar workers in Sharjah.

Commenting on the felicitation of clinic, His Excellency Al Qaseer, said: “Opening a new clinic that will offer affordable, world-class quality healthcare is a constructive step and an important idea that reflects the values of Sharjah of enhancing healthcare services. Right Health has strategically opened this clinic in the middle of industrial area to cater to the many workers residing in Saja labour camps. This facility serves as an example for all healthcare providers and we hope others will follow in Right Health’s footsteps and open more facilities that consider workers and their well-being of prime importance.

The new clinic also serves the LSDA’s strategic objectives. LSDA was established in line with the keen interest of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to facilitate an ideal work environment in Sharjah. The Authority aims at providing support to workers and employers in cooperation with government stakeholders and private enterprises, to enhance the performance of this sector, and keep pace with the rapid developments witnessed by the emirate of Sharjah in particular and the UAE in general.”

The value healthcare chain has been rapidly expanding its reach into labour neighbourhoods of the country, bringing quality healthcare to the doorstep of low-income expats.

The primary health clinic at Al Saja’a is one of the 57 Right Health facilities, which was launched with the aim of assisting the government in addressing the shortfall of health centres that cater to low-income patients in the Emirate. The clinic caters to around 1,050 patients monthly.

The primary healthcare clinic is a one-stop destination for all primary healthcare requirements, staffed by a team of general medical experts. The facility features an onsite pharmacy and is open every day from 8am to 10pm.

Dr Sanjay Paithankar, Managing Director of Right Health, said: “Right Health seeks to ensure that the UAE’s blue-collar workers can also enjoy access to quality healthcare close to their homes and places of work. Our fast-growing presence in the region is a result of our tireless efforts to bring reliable, affordable and outcome-driven health services to the masses where they need them.”

Right Health, a group company of the UAE-based conglomerate Foundation Holdings, a strategic investment firm focused on the healthcare, education and consumer sectors, supports the objective of the National Agenda of the UAE Vision 2021 to make quality healthcare accessible to all. With its winning formula of operating targeted, smaller health centres and clinics in strategic locations, the company has become the premier provider of affordable health care to the working-class population.

To achieve this goal, our facilities are designed to handle greater capacity, with plans in place to factor in future expansion as well as the introduction of mandatory insurance.
