Sharjah 24 – Reuters: Representatives attending the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) in Madrid spoke highly of China's influence and responsibility during negotiations on the implementation of the 2015 Paris Agreement.
The COP25 climate summit, opened on Dec. 2, was adjourned Sunday after one-week discussions on the remaining problems, energy conservation and emission reduction related to the Paris Agreement.

It will start its second-phase negotiations Monday with representative from around 200 countries to discuss issues of establishing an international emissions trading scheme, control of greenhouse gas emission and subsidies for countries affected by rising sea levels.

During the first-phase negotiations in the past week, attendees have shown strong signals and determination to handle climate change. China's influence and responsibility in this endeavor has won wide acclaim.
