Sharjah 24: Alia Obaid Al Khayyal, curator of the Sharjah Archaeology Museum, launched the "A Journey of Discovery" exhibition for children, aimed at educating them through various interactive stages and activities.
She said that "A Journey of Discovery" exhibition is designed to educate children about the role of archaeologists. She added that the exhibition offers a unique experience where children go through various stages, from registration to donning an archaeologist's uniform and using tools for their exploration.
She told "Sharjah 24" that children engage in a simulation of real excavation sites to uncover buried models, including artifacts discovered in Sharjah. They document their findings using correct archaeological methods, mirroring the work of archaeologists.
Al Khayyal encouraged families to enhance their summer break by visiting the exhibition.
