Sharjah 24: The Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre "Tahkeem" held a workshop on "Arbitration and Entrepreneurship" at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the Sharjah Foundation to support pioneering Entrepreneurs (Ruwad) members, to help them identify legal disputes that entrepreneurs face with suppliers and partners.
The workshop discussed ways to solve dispute and provided those members with the legal advice they need to deal with such challenges.

This workshop was held as part of the cooperation agreement between "Tahkeem" and "Ruwad" that was inked in September of last year. The Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre will provide its services in spreading the culture of arbitration and introducing it to the programmes of the “Ruwad” Foundation, according to the agreement between the two parties with the goal of establishing ties and coordinating efforts to improve the competitiveness and professionalism of the economy and important sectors.

Ahmed Saleh Al-Ajla, Director of the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre "Tahkeem," emphasised the importance of such workshops in resolving commercial disputes and promoting the culture of arbitration rather than litigation, in line with the Sharjah International Commercial Arbitration Centre "Tahkeem's" vision of being a basic interface to assist businesses men in resolving and settling commercial disputes.
