Kuwait suffers 1,661 new COVID-19 cases, six deaths

Sharjah 24 – KUNA: Kuwait's daily coronavirus cases jumped by 1,661 to 349,923 as deaths rose by six to 1,919, according to the health ministry on Saturday.

Another 1,689 people were cured of the virus, raising the total of those to have overcome the disease to 329,423, the ministry said in a statement.

The number of people hospitalised with the virus currently stands at 18,5581, with 265 of them in intensive care units, he added, revealing that some 13,834 swab tests were conducted over the last day out of a total of 2,921,345.
