Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al-Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, inspected the Eastern Region Police Department (ERPD) at Sharjah police and Kalba Comprehensive Police Station, to assess work flow and the latest security developments, in the presence of Colonel Rashid Saif Al Zaabi, Acting Director of the Eastern Region Police Department and a number of police officers.
Commenting on this, Major General Al Shamsi praised the efforts exerted by police officers during Eid Al Fitr holiday, their favourable response facilitating traffic flow and maintaining security in the Eastern Region.
Major General Al Shamsi also confirmed that police officers adhered strictly to all COVID-19 precautionary measures, while they intensified security patrols in vital sites of the Eastern Region aiming to facilitate traffic flow, in addition to provide immediate response and assistance to visitors of tourist areas and beaches.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police concluded that concerted efforts and cooperation between relevant parties contributed to the success of securing tourist destinations, by taking all precautionary measures to ensure the safety and security of the public.
