Sharjah24 – AFP: Customers at a gas station in Maryland fill up car tanks as people across the US East Coast panic buy and contribute to a gas shortage after a major pipeline network was hacked last week. Colonial Pipeline, shut down by a cyberattack, said Thursday it had resumed fuel deliveries.
Stephen Olabiyi, gas station customer said, "This my first try, I've driven around to see if I could get gas today. So I was actually going back to my house and I saw the line was not that bad, so I was like okay, just let me give it a try. I was in the line for just make like 15 minutes so that's cool." He added about prices change since the beginning of week,”The prices kind of increased, so let me try my luck today. And thank God I got something. It's actually expensive but we have no choice so that's my concern." Another gas station customer, Pierre Tumasang pointed out, "It worries me a lot because, one, I didn't go to work this morning because when I left for work I couldn't go because I didn't have enough gas to leave and if it goes on like this, it's going to cause us a lot of problems."
