Sharjah Police receives a delegation from RAK Police

During the visit
Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Wasit Comprehensive Police Station, received a delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command, headed by Colonel Ayman Al Obed, Director of Al Rams Police Station.
Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Rashid Allay, Head of Wasit Comprehensive Police Station in Sharjah, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed bin Qasmoul Al Suwaidi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Branch at the station, and a number of specialist officers, received the delegation. 

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's strategy aimed at exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation and inter-coordination to support and advance security work. 

Such meetings are based on the methodology of making comparisons that aims to consolidate learning from the experiences and practices of others and to benefit from the information and results obtained from standard comparison processes. In addition to improving the level of institutional performance by providing the knowledge gained from all performance measurement outputs and using them as opportunities for improvement.

At the outset of the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Allay welcomed the visiting Ras Al Khaimah Police delegation, expressing happiness with the visit, which confirms the two sides’ keenness to enhance cooperation, in a way that supports their goals in all areas of police and security work. In addition to enhancing the security and stability march emanating from the vision and strategy of the Ministry of Interior, which aims to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world in security and safety.

The delegation was also briefed during its visit on the work mechanism of the Wasit Comprehensive Police Station, and the systems and mechanisms in place, as it was the first station at the level of the Ministry of Interior to obtain a five-star rating according to the Emirates Programme for Excellence in Government Services.

The delegation praised the efforts made by the Sharjah Police, which has significant experiences in the field, stressing its endeavour to get to know such experiences closely within the framework of the plans aim to achieve great developments.

At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation thanked the officials for the warm welcome, good reception and positive cooperation, in which commemorative shields were exchanged from both sides.
