AQU organises meeting with Cultural Counselor of Afghanistan

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Mohammed Amarkhil, Cultural Counselor of the Republic of Afghanistan, met, on Monday, with Afghani students of Al Qasimia University (AQU) who are about to graduate.
This came during a meeting organised by Student Recruitment Office and the Alumni Association at AQU.

The meeting was held through virtual communication technology, with the aim of maintaining social distancing measures to ensure the safety and health of the participants. 

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Mohammed Amarkhil, Cultural Counselor of the Republic of Afghanistan, praised the efforts exerted by the university, and its keenness to take care of its students, including those studying from Afghanistan. 

For their part, the students expressed heartfelt appreciation in the great care of the university, and its eagerness to ensure all means of success for its students on the academic level during their time of study. 

During the meeting, a number of discussions related to Afghani students in the university took place, and many proposals for attracting more students to the university in its various colleges. 

The meeting also addressed the educational and living conditions in light of the COVID-19, praising the university’s care since the beginning of the pandemic in ensuring the health and safety of its students. 

The Cultural Counselor of the Republic of Afghanistan called on students to work hard and be a good representation of the university after their graduation. The meeting also discussed AQU's Alumni Association and the contribution of Afghan students to it.
