Sharjah 24: A delegation from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has visited the headquarters of the Sharjah House of Justice (Sharjah Courts) and Sharjah Family Court, to review the continuity of the judicial work system in the courts, and to inspect the progress of work and precautionary and preventive measures, in light of the current coronavirus pandemic, its repercussions and challenges facing courts.
Dr. Saeed Bahbouh Al Naqbi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, confirmed that, based on the continuous directives of Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi Al Dhaheri, Minister of Justice, follow-up has continued periodically from the beginning of the pandemic, to ensure the continuity of work in the courts in light of the current challenge, and the extent of compatibility between continuity and adherence to the precautions stipulated by the concerned authorities in the country, indicating that there must be continuous coordination to ensure that the judicial work is not affected, as well as preserving the health and safety of clients, litigants, and employees. In an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24", Al Naqbi pointed out that there were some challenges at the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, but thanks to the directives and unlimited support of the country’s wise leadership leaders, we were able to surpass a large percentage of them, especially in light of the proactive vision and advance preparation for such emergency challenges. The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice pointed out that the visit came to monitor the actual results of the transformation in the provision of services since last March until the present day, saying that the success of the process was based on the plans set by the ministry, adding that challenges are still there, but the possibility of surpassing them is possible and available following the successes made under the circumstances of the pandemic.
