Pakistan conducts first flight test of surface-to-surface Ababeel missile

According to Radio Pakistan, the missile is capable of delivering multiple warheads, using Multiple Independent Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology. The test flight was aimed at validating various design and technical parameters of the weapon system. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwa has congratulated scientists and Pakistan armed forces over their landmark achievement. President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have also felicitated the nation, armed forces and scientists over the successful test of the missile.
