Sharjah24: AC Milan fought back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw against Lazio in the fourth round of Serie A on Saturday.
Lazio appeared to have taken control of the match in the first half through goals from Matteo Cancellieri in the 10th minute and Dutchman Tijjani Noslin in the 39th. However, Milan responded after the break, with Belgian substitute Diego Moreira scoring twice in two minutes, in the 65th and 67th minutes.

Moreira, who joined from French side Strasbourg for around €50 million, scored his first Serie A goals in only his second appearance for the Rossoneri.

Lazio played in front of nearly empty stands as their supporters boycotted the Stadio Olimpico in protest against the policies of club owner Claudio Lotito.

After three consecutive victories over Bologna and Genoa, both 1-0, and Udinese 2-1, the capital club, coached by former Milan star Gennaro Gattuso, failed to win their first major test of the season. Milan also remained unbeaten, having drawn 1-1 with Juventus in the previous round.

Lazio moved to 10 points at the top of the standings, one point ahead of second-placed Roma, who visit Torino on Monday, and defending champions Inter in third, who host Udinese on the same day.
