The Court extends its deepest condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased, and to the entire Al Qasimi family, praying that God Almighty grant him mercy, accept him into Paradise, and grant his loved ones patience and comfort during this time of sorrow.

Funeral prayer and burial arrangements

Funeral prayers for the late Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem will be held after Asr prayer at King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah. He will be laid to rest at Al Jubail Cemetery following the prayer.

Condolences and mourning period

Condolences for men will be received at the residence of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, in Al Badee suburb of Sharjah, starting on Saturday and continuing for three days. Condolences will be received in the morning from 9:00 am until Dhuhr prayer, and in the evening from after Asr prayer until Maghrib prayer.

Condolences for women will be received at the deceased's residence in the Al Tarfana area of Sharjah. An official three-day mourning period has also been declared, starting on Friday.
