Oil prices steady as Brent tops $100 amid supply disruption fears

Sharjah24-WAM: Oil prices held firm on Thursday after Brent crude breached the $100-a-barrel mark, with traders remaining concerned about further supply disruptions.

Brent crude futures edged down 0.1% to $101.10 a barrel by 02:56 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose 0.2% to $96.24.

The move comes as markets remain focused on potential disruptions to global oil supplies, keeping prices elevated despite modest movements in benchmark futures.
