In an official statement released on Saturday, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry characterised the attacks as a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a direct threat to domestic security and stability. Furthermore, the ministry noted that the strikes breach international law, the United Nations Charter, good-neighborly principles, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
Kuwait emphasised that these escalating hostile actions reflect a deliberate strategy by Iran to destabilise the region and heighten tensions. In response, the ministry reaffirmed that Kuwait maintains its inherent, legitimate right to enforce all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, protect its borders, resources, and infrastructure, and ensure the safety of all citizens and residents.
