In a statement, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said Iran continues to pursue a hostile approach through attacks targeting civilians in Bahrain.

It added that the Bahrain Defence Force's air defence systems had intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks today.

The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force stressed that targeting civilians and civilian property with missiles and drones constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
