President’s remarks came during a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Lebanon, Hius Excellency Fahad Al Kaabi, at the Presidential Palace in capital Beirut.

Conveying leadership greetings

During the meeting, Ambassador Al Kaabi conveyed the greetings of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Lebanon and its people.

President Aoun requested Ambassador Al Kaabi to convey his own warm greetings back to the UAE leadership, wishing the nation continued advancement, prosperity, and well-being.

Strengthening bilateral relations and regional stability

The two sides reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region, while discussing optimal pathways to further strengthen bilateral relations across various fields.

Ambassador Al Kaabi reaffirmed the UAE’s unwavering commitment to enhancing cooperation with Lebanon in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries. Furthermore, he reiterated the UAE’s steadfast support for Lebanon’s security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, alongside its ongoing aspirations for development and growth.
