Sharjah24 - WAM: The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced early Wednesday that Kuwait's air defence systems were intercepting hostile drones and missiles.

The blasts heard in some parts of the country resulted from mid-air interceptions, according to a statement from the General Staff carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

The statement urged the public to follow the safety instructions issued by the competent bodies.
