MoFA urges UAE nationals to avoid travel to Uganda, DRC, S. Sudan

Sharjah24 - WAM: In light of the evolving Ebola virus disease (EVD) situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has advised UAE nationals to avoid travelling to Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and South Sudan unless travel is absolutely necessary.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and wellbeing of UAE citizens abroad, stressing the importance of following all official travel advisories and guidance. It also urged UAE nationals currently in these countries to remain highly vigilant, comply with health and safety measures issued by local authorities, register with the Twajudi service, and contact the Ministry in emergencies via the dedicated hotline for UAE nationals abroad: +97180024.
