Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, inaugurated the 7th National Festival of Tolerance & Coexistence at Umm Al Emarat Park, Abu Dhabi, under the theme “Hand in Hand”, running until 18th November 2025. The festival, held during the UAE Year of Community, celebrates tolerance, coexistence, and human fraternity, bringing together diverse communities, officials, intellectuals, and artists.

Multicultural performances and activities

The opening featured multicultural performances, including the Community Voices of Tolerance Choir, Kung Fu, Thai and Palestinian performances, and presentations by local students. China was the Guest of Honour, with Ambassador Zhang Yiming highlighting the UAE’s inclusivity and the flourishing friendship between the two nations.

Promoting unity and legacy

Sheikh Nahyan emphasised the festival’s role in fostering unity, collective action, and shared humanity, honoring the legacies of the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed and Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.

Tolerance walk and community engagement

Events include the Tolerance Walk on 16th November, symbolizing collaboration, diversity, and global harmony.
