UAE President meets Montenegrin Prime Minister

Sharjah 24 – WAM: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Excellency Milojko Spajić, Prime Minister of Montenegro, to discuss bilateral cooperation and explore opportunities to expand ties, particularly in economic, developmental, educational, cultural, and renewable energy sectors. The meeting aimed to support both countries’ growth priorities and mutual interests.

Meeting held in Abu Dhabi

The discussions took place at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi during the Montenegrin Prime Minister’s working visit to the UAE. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across multiple fields to promote further progress and development.

Regional and international discussions

The leaders also addressed regional and international issues of mutual interest, highlighting shared perspectives on global and regional developments.

Energy cooperation MoU signed

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and Prime Minister Spajić witnessed the exchange of a memorandum of understanding in the field of energy between the UAE and Montenegro. The MoU was signed by His Excellency Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and His Excellency Admir Šahmanović, Montenegrin Minister of Energy and Mining.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, and other ministers and senior state officials.
