During the session, His Highness Sheikh Mansour praised the efforts of UAE government teams in supporting the success of shared national initiatives and programmes across various sectors, noting their vital contributions throughout the stages of planning, implementation, and follow-up.
He affirmed that government entities function as a unified system, collaborating to achieve national priorities, promote sustainable development, and uphold the UAE’s standing in global competitiveness indicators.
His Highness stressed the importance of coordinating federal and local government projects and plans to achieve the nation’s long-term vision, enhance service quality for the community, and increase the UAE’s efficiency and competitiveness across all sectors.
The Ministerial Development Council discussed key areas of joint coordination and proposed new development projects in priority sectors such as roads and infrastructure, traffic congestion management, energy, ease of doing business, and the empowerment of Emirati talent in the national labour market.
The discussions also examined the key challenges facing these sectors and highlighted opportunities for collaborative national initiatives aimed at promoting innovation and addressing emerging development needs.
His Highness commended the efforts of all federal and local entities, as well as the private sector and community members, for their active participation in implementing national policies and achieving the targets set in key strategic areas.
The meeting’s agenda included discussions on the findings of recent studies conducted in the fields of economy, investment, and industry, aimed at supporting evidence-based policymaking and strengthening economic resilience.
The Council also reviewed draft regulatory decisions submitted by various ministries and federal bodies, covering important areas such as environmental preservation, e-commerce, and traffic regulation, along with other key national sectors.
Officials also discussed the outcomes of the UAE’s participation in several regional and international events, including the 2025 G20 Labour and Employment Ministers’ Meeting and the World Bank Group’s Business Enabling Environment Report, emphasising the UAE’s proactive role in shaping global development discussions.
