Led by Bushra Ameer, strategic technology analyst and chair of the Accenture Youth Council, the session introduced participants to practical AI applications for daily and professional use. Ameer demonstrated how to boost productivity and audience engagement by leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT and Canva that can be used to create marketable digital products such as greeting cards, social media content and event invitations. Participants also explored AI applications in writing, translation and design, expanding opportunities for freelancers and entrepreneurs to monetise their skills.
Commenting on the initiative, Her Excellency Mariam Al Hammadi, Director General of NAMA, said: “Artificial intelligence is now embedded across all sectors, from home-based micro enterprises to global corporations. Its integration is no longer optional. To remain competitive, individuals must develop the skills to use these tools effectively and apply them with purpose in both business and daily life.”
She added: “As women deepen their knowledge, they gain access to greater opportunities for growth, productivity and innovation, increasing their influence in both economic and social spheres. This session was designed to offer a direct and practical approach to AI, showing participants how to use the technology to develop viable projects and boost income through simple, accessible tools.”
Following the Al Dhaid session, NAMA will host the next NAMA Talks on November 10 at the Higher Colleges of Technology in Fujairah, focusing on how AI can enhance income sources and innovation in line with its mission to empower women entrepreneurs across the UAE.
