Omar Alshamsi emphasized that the tailored consular services for Golden Visa holders align with the UAE’s strategy to be a top destination for skilled professionals, investors, and innovators. He noted that the partnership between MoFA and ICP creates a seamless ecosystem that supports Golden Visa holders both within and outside the UAE.

Major General Suhail Al Khaili described the new services as a “qualitative leap” in cross-agency integration. He highlighted the Authority’s efforts to deliver smart, human-centered solutions that meet the specific needs of distinguished residents, in line with the country’s values of generosity and excellence.

In a significant development, the UAE has expanded consular emergency services—previously exclusive to UAE nationals—to include Golden Visa holders. This ensures comprehensive care, protection, and dignity for all distinguished residents, especially in times of crisis.
