Distinguished attendance and global participation
The event was attended by a number of senior officials, dignitaries, and academic delegations from around the world. Among them were Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat; Khalfan Abdulla Khalfan Al Mansoori, Acting Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Hazardous Materials Management Centre; and Mahmoud Salem Alalawi, Director-General of the Corporate Efficiency Sector at the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority.
A global platform for STEAM innovation
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), the 2025 edition of ESI brings together more than 2,000 participants from over 45 countries. Young talents are showcasing innovative projects in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), with exhibitions taking place across Halls 7 to 10 at the ADNEC Centre.
ACTVET highlights youth empowerment
Dr. Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi, Director-General of ACTVET, expressed deep appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his support of this global event. He said that the expo reflects the leadership’s commitment to advancing technical and vocational education and empowering youth to use science and innovation to serve humanity. He described the event as an inspiring platform where young talents from around the world come together in Abu Dhabi to exchange ideas and present groundbreaking innovations that help shape a knowledge-based future.

Running until 1st October, Expo-Sciences International 2025 offers an engaging scientific experience that aims to inspire and prepare a new generation of scientists and innovators. The event supports the UAE’s broader goals of innovation and sustainable development by empowering young minds to address future challenges with creativity and forward-thinking solutions.
