His Highness Sheikh Humaid emphasized that the survey results are a crucial tool for understanding the living, social, and economic realities of Ajman. These results provide a solid foundation for creating developmental plans that aim to enhance quality of life and contribute to the emirate’s sustainable development.
The Ruler of Ajman praised the Ajman Statistics Centre for its efforts in preparing comprehensive studies and surveys that reflect the social and economic aspects of the emirate. These data help improve public services, meet citizens' needs, and raise their standard of living.
The survey’s primary goal is to provide accurate data on income and consumption patterns. This data will allow policymakers to design balanced development policies aimed at improving living standards and quality of life for families in Ajman in the years to come.
Dr Hajar Al Habishi, Director-General of the Ajman Statistics Centre, presented the results, which included in-depth analyses of quality of life, social and economic well-being in the emirate. The presentation also covered spending in education and health, along with details on family self-sufficiency thresholds, consumption patterns, and living habits.
The survey also provided detailed information on demographic characteristics, living standards, income sources, and daily living costs. It identified various family categories and highlighted the needs of some Emirati families. Practical proposals were also put forward to promote financial investment and strengthen a culture of saving.
The survey concluded with recommendations aimed at enhancing social support networks by empowering low-income families and ensuring their basic needs are met. It also recommended incentives and financing programs to encourage Emirati families to start private economic projects and actively participate in the labor market.
Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid reviewed the Marriage and Divorce Report for 2024 and the first half of 2025. The report showed a significant increase in marriage contracts and a decline in divorce rates, highlighting the positive stability of family and community fabric in the emirate.
