In remarks to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Ambassador Al Anqari highlighted the strategic partnership between the two nations, which aims to build a prosperous and stable future for both their peoples and the wider region. He noted that the two countries maintain close coordination on most political and economic issues of mutual concern.
The ambassador pointed to the significant growth in economic ties in recent years. In the first half of 2025, non-oil trade between Saudi Arabia and the UAE reached US$25 billion, marking a 21.3% increase compared to the same period in 2024. He also noted: UAE direct investments in Saudi Arabia have surpassed SAR111 billion.
Saudi Arabia is the UAE’s third-largest global trading partner and its top Arab trading partner.
Ambassador Al Anqari expressed gratitude to the UAE leadership and people, especially during the celebrations of the 95th Saudi National Day: “The noble sentiments we experienced from our brothers in the UAE during the celebrations of the 95th National Day of the Kingdom are a source of pride for us. The UAE holds a special and cherished place in our hearts.”
